Our Mission
We affirm and uplift the voices of all who are system-impacted, recognizing that the reach of the criminal legal system extends far beyond bars and courtrooms. To be system-impacted is to be directly or indirectly affected by mass incarceration, policing, surveillance, and criminalization in all its forms.
Whether you have been incarcerated yourself, were present during a police stop, were in a car during a sale, or have a loved one, family, friend, neighbor, or partner, who has been caught in the system, your experience matters. The harm of this system does not stop at individuals, it touches families, communities, and entire generations.
Our Vision
We envision a world where the dignity, humanity, and voices of all system-impacted people are not only recognized but centered in the fight for justice. A world where harm is not met with punishment, but with care, accountability, and community support. We strive toward a future free from cages, criminalization, and surveillance—where healing replaces harm, solidarity replaces stigma, and liberation is a shared and lived reality for all.
